Ingredients
- 1 large cucumber
- 1 tsp salt
- 12 Yutaka Gyoza (any variety)
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 1 tsp Yutaka Mirin
- 1 tsp Yutaka Toasted Sesame Oil
- 1/2 tsp chilli oil (optional)
- 1 tsp Yutaka Toasted Sesame Seeds
- 1 spring onion, finely sliced
Directions
- Lightly bash the cucumber with a rolling pin until it cracks, then tear into bite-sized chunks. Sprinkle with salt and set aside for 10 minutes to draw out moisture.
- Cook the gyoza according to packet instructions (pan-fried or steamed).
- In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and chilli oil if using.
- Drain any excess liquid from the cucumber and tos with the dressing.
- Arrange gyoza on a plate or shallow bowl and spoon the dressed cucumber around.
- Scatter the sesame seeds and spring onion to serve.
