Japanese Soynbean Paste with Barley

Ingredients:
Barley (46%), Soybeans (30%), Water, Salt, Alcohol.

Allergens:
For allergens including cereals containing gluten, see ingredients in bold.

Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within 2 months.
Natural colour variation may occur over time. This will not affect product quality.

How To Cook

Pork Miso Soup for 2

Ingredients:
2 tbsp Yutaka Barley Miso Paste
5g Yutaka Katsuobushi
(Bonito flakes)
120g Thinly sliced pork loins
100g Mooli radish
1/2 Carrot
1/4 Leek
 
Dashi stock: Add 500ml boiling hot water and 5-10g bonito flakes into a saucepan.

Simmer for 1 minute. Turn off the heat, wait until it settles down to the bottom of the saucepan and drain.

Toppings: Cut pork and vegetables into small pieces and fry until cooked.
 
Mix: Pour dashi stock and toppings into a saucepan and simmer until vegetables are soft. Add miso paste gradually and mix well. 

Top with thinly sliced spring onions.
