Honey Gochujang Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Gochujang
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Yutaka Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 200g mixed crunchy salad leaves
  • 1/2 cucmber, thinly sliced
  • 1 spring onion, finely sliced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds, toasted

Directions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil and garlic to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and coat well. Marinate for at least 15 minutes
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through.
  4. Turn off the heat and let the sauce thicken slightly in the pan.
  5. Arrange salad leaves, cucumber and spring onion in serving bowls.
  6. Top with the sticky chicken and spoon over any extra glaze. Sprinkle with sesame seeds to serve.
