Kimchi Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 180g spaghetti
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 100g Yutaka kimchi
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 100ml double cream
  • 2 tbsp grated Parmesan, plus extra to serve
  • 1 spring onion, finely sliced
  • 1/2 tsp black sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted boiling water according to packet instructions. Drain, reserving 2 tbsp of pasta water.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and chopped kimchi and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add soy sauce and double cream, stirring to combine. Simmer for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  4. Add the drained spaghetti and reserved pasta water. Toss to coat, then stir in the parmesan.
  5. Serve topped with spring onion, black sesame seeds and extra parmesan.
