Ingredients
- 400g boneless chicken thigh, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp Yutaka Miso Paste
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Mirin
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Sake (optional)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1 small red pepper sliced
- 2 spring onions, finely sliced
- 1 tsp Yutaka Toasted Sesame Seeds
Directions
- In a bowl, combine the miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, sake (if using), sesame oil and grated garlic to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavour).
- Heat a non-stick frying pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and cooked through.
- In the same pan, add the sliced red pepper and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until lightly roasted and tender.
- Transfer to a serving plate, scatter with sliced spring onions and toasted sesame seeds.
