Ingredients

  • 400g boneless chicken thigh, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tbsp Yutaka Miso Paste
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Sake (optional)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 garlic clove, grated
  • 1 small red pepper sliced
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1 tsp Yutaka Toasted Sesame Seeds

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine the miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, sake (if using), sesame oil and grated garlic to make the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat. Cover and marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for deeper flavour).
  3. Heat a non-stick frying pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally until golden and cooked through.
  4. In the same pan, add the sliced red pepper and cook for a further 2-3 minutes until lightly roasted and tender.
  5. Transfer to a serving plate, scatter with sliced spring onions and toasted sesame seeds.
