Ingredients
- 150g Yutaka Sushi Rice
- 2 Yutaka Nori Sheets
- 80g cooked white crab meat
- 1/2 ripe avocado, sliced
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp sriracha or chilli sauce
- 1 tsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
- 1 tsp finely chopped chives
- Yutaka Soy Sauce, to serve
Directions
- Rinse the sushi rice under colder water until the water runs clear. Cook according to packet instructions. Season with rice vinegar and allow to cool slightly.
- In a small bowl, mix the crab meat with mayonnaise, sriracha, and chopped chives.
- Place a nori sheet shiny side down on a bamboo rolling mat. With wet hands, spread half the sushi rice evenly over the nori, leaving a 2cm border at the top.
- Arrange a line of avocado slices and the spicy crab mixture across the centre of the rice. Use the mat to carefully roll the sushi away from you, pressing gently to Shape into a tight roll. Seal the edge with a little water.
- Repeat with the second nori sheet and remaining ingredients.
- Slice each roll into 6-8 pieces with a sharp damp knife.
- Serve with soy sauce for dipping.
