Ingredients
- 400g King Prawns
- 4 Tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 40g Cornflour
- 1 Red Onion
- 2 Red Peppers
- 3 Garlic Cloves
- 2cm Ginger
- 1 Tbsp Caster Sugar
- 90ml Malt Vinegar
- 2 Tbsp Ketchup
- 2 Tbsp Oil
- Cooked Rice and Coriander (to serve)
Directions
- Chop the onion, pepper and garlic. Grate the ginger.
- Add 3 Tbsp of soy sauce into a bowl and add the prawns. Let them marinate for 20 minutes before stirring the cornflour in.
- Heat the oil in a large frying pan on a high heat. Fry the prawns for 1-2 minutes each side or until golden.
- Remove the prawns and set aside.
- Add the onions and peppers to the saucepan and fry for 1-2mins.
- Next, add the garlic and ginger and stir well. Sprinkle the sugar in and pour the vinegar into the pan.
- Stir in the remaining soy sauce and ketchup.
- Add the prawns back into the pan and coat in the sauce.
- Sprinkle with coriander and serve with cooked rice.
