Vegan Sushi Balls
Very easy to make sushi balls, perfect for beginners and super tasty.
Ingredients
- 250g Yutaka Sushi Rice
- 3 Tbsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Avocado
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 1/2 Carrot
- 2 Spring Onions
- Yutaka Sesame Seeds
Directions
- Transfer the rice to a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix the Rice vinegar, Sugar, and Salt until dissolved. Pour over the rice and gently fold to combine. Allow the rice to cool to room temperature.
- Slice the avocado, spring onion and cucmber, and grate the carrot.
- Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking. Take a small handful of rice and flatten it in your palm.
- Place a small amount of Avocado, Cucumber, and Carrot in the center of the rice.
- Gently fold the rice around the filling to form a ball, pressing lightly to shape it.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion - serve.
