Vegan Sushi Balls

Vegan Sushi Balls

Very easy to make sushi balls, perfect for beginners and super tasty.

    Ingredients

    • 250g Yutaka Sushi Rice
    • 3 Tbsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
    • 1 Tbsp Sugar
    • 1 Tsp Salt
    • 1 Avocado
    • 1/2 Cucumber
    • 1/2 Carrot
    • 2 Spring Onions
    • Yutaka Sesame Seeds

    Directions

    1. Transfer the rice to a large bowl. In a small bowl, mix the Rice vinegar, Sugar, and Salt until dissolved. Pour over the rice and gently fold to combine. Allow the rice to cool to room temperature.
    2. Slice the avocado, spring onion and cucmber, and grate the carrot.
    3. Wet your hands with water to prevent sticking. Take a small handful of rice and flatten it in your palm.
    4. Place a small amount of Avocado, Cucumber, and Carrot in the center of the rice.
    5. Gently fold the rice around the filling to form a ball, pressing lightly to shape it.
    6. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onion - serve.
