Ingredients
- 4 Pork Chops
- 4 Cloves of Garlic
- 4 Iceberg lettuce Leaves
- 4 Cherry Tomatoes
- 4 Spring Onions
- 6 Tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 4 Tbsp Yutaka Shaoxing Rice Wine
- 4 Tbsp Cornstarch
- 2.5cm Ginger
- 4 Tbsp Sugar
- 1 Tsp Sesame Oil
- 2 Tbsp Vegetable Oil
- 2 Servings of Cooked Japanese Rice
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Directions
- Chop your garlic, lettuce, tomatoes, spring onions and ginger.
- Mix together ginger, rice wine, soy sauce, sugar and sesame oil in a bowl.
- Pound your pork chops until flat, season with salt and pepper and dust with cornstarch.
- Heat some oil in the pan and add your garlic and pork.
- Brown the pork on each side and then add your mixture from earlier. Cover and cook for 7 minutes, regularly spooning the mixture on to the pork throughout.
- Once cooked, put your spring onions on the pork and slice it up.
- Put your rice into bowls with lettuce on top.
- Place your pork in the bowl and garnish with cherry tomatoes. Enjoy!
