Ingredients

  • 400g firm tofu, drained and crumbles
  • 2 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
For the sauce:
  • 2 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the crumbled tofu, soy sauce, minced garlic, spring onion, cornflour, and grated ginger. Mix well until the mixture holds together.
  2. Form into small, bite-sized balls.
  3. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Cook the tofu balls 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and crispy.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients.
  5. Pour the sauce into the frying pan, tossing the tofu balls to coat evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
