Hiyayakko

A simple yet refreshing traditional Japanese dish that features cold silken tofu served with tasty toppings and seasonings.

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Yutaka SIlken Tofu
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 Tsp Yutaka Sushi Ginger
  • 2 Tbsp Bonito Flakes
  • 1 Tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • Yutaka Sesame Seeds (to garnish)

Directions

  1. Use paper towels to gently squeeze moisture from the tofu and leave it to drain for 15 minutes.
  2. Chop your spring onions and grate the ginger.
  3. Chop the tofu into 4 and top with spring onions, ginger and bonito flakes.
  4. Drizzle with soy sauce and serve.
