Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon fillets (or chicken breast, if preferred)
  • 1 red pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 200g cabbage, shredded
  • 2 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Miso Paste
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 tsp grated ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Spring onion, finely sliced, garnish

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, miso paste, maple syrup, sesame oil, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
  2. Place the salmon fillets (or chicken) in the marinade and let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a large pan or skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the onion, red pepper, and cabbage, and stir-fry for 4-5 minutes until tender but still vibrant. Set the vegetables aside.
  4. In the same pan, cook the marinated salmon fillets (or chicken) for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden.
  5. To serve, place the stir-fried vegetables on a plate, top with the salmon (or chicken), and drizzle with any remaining marinade. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions.
  6. Serve with rice or noodles for a complete meal.
