Snowman Bento box

Create a fun lunchbox this festive season visually and tastefully with an easy snowman rice ball bento box.

Ingredients

  • 200g Yutaka Sushi Rice
  • 4x Yutaka Chicken Karaage
  • 4x Yutaka Vegetable Gyoza
  • 6x Cucumber Ribbons
  • 1 Sheet Yutaka Nori Seaweed
  • 4x Toothpicks

Directions

  1.  Cook the sushi rice, chicken karrage and gyoza according to the packet instructions.
  2. Carefully press your cooked rice into 4 ball shapes (two bigger and two smaller). You may need to dampen your hands with water for this.
  3. Put the smaller ball on the larger ball for each these will form your two snowmen.
  4. Cut out several small triangles and squares from the seaweed and press on to the rice to form eyes, nose and buttons for your snowmen.
  5. Next place your cooked gyoza and karaage into your bento box, and layer with cucumber and carrot ribons- you can use toothpicks to fashion wavy shapes with them.
  6. Add your two snowmen to the top and enjoy!
