Chicken Teriyaki

Tender pieces of chicken with leek, coated in a delicious and flavourful, simple to make teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients

Sauce Mixture:
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp cooking sake
1 tsp sugar

2 Chicken thighs
1 Leek

Directions

1. Cut 1 leek into 1 inch pieces.
2. Dice 2 chicken thighs.
3. Add oil to pan and fry leek until lightly golden.
4. Lightly coat chicken with cornflour.
5. Fry chicken till golden brown.
6. Add leek & fry together.
7. Add teriyaki sauce, toss & simmer.
8. Serve with steamed rice and salad.
