Kimchi Fried Rice with Egg

Ingredients

  • 250g Yutaka Kimchi
  • 4 Tbsp Kimchi Brine (drained from jar)
  • 4 Tbsp Yutaka Gochujang
  • 1 Tbsp Yutaka Soy Suace
  • 200g Yutaka Rice (cooked)
  • 4 Spring Onions
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 3 Tsp Yutaka Sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Slice your spring onions and kimchi.
  2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan and add the white bottom of your spring onion along with garlic for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the kimchi and brine - stir in.
  4. Next add the gouchujang and soy sauce and mix together - cook for around 2-3 mins.
  5. Stir in the rice along with sesame oil, sesame seeds and the green part of the spring onions.
  6. In a seperate frying pan, heat 1 Tbsp oil and fry your egg sunny side up on a low heat.
  7. Serve in two bowls with a fried egg on top of each.
