Ingredients
- 100g somen noodles
- 1 can (120g) British tuna in water, drained
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 spring onion, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Mirin
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2tsp sugar
- 1 tsp Yutaka Sesame Seeds (optional, for garnish)
- Fresh coriander or basil leaves (optional, for garnish)
Directions
- Cook the somen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and rinse under cold water to cool completely. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, mirin, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar until the sugar is dissolved.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the drained tuna, diced tomato, and finely chopped spring onion. Pour the dressing over the mixture and toss gently to combine.
- Divide the cold somen noodles between two bowls. Top with tuna and tomato mixture.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh coriander or basil leaves, if desired.
