Twice-Cooked Pork Belly

Mouthwatering twist on twice-cooked pork. Originating from Sichuan but enjoyed in Japan.

Ingredients

  • 150g Pork Belly
  • 200g Cabbage
  • 2 Tbsp Yutaka Miso Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 1 Green Pepper
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 1 Tsp Chilli Paste
  • 1 Tsp Oil

Directions

  1. Slice your pork belly, cabbage and green pepper. Mince the garlic.
  2. Heat the oil in a frying pan and add the garlic, pork and chilli paste - fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Next add the cabbage and pepper to the pan and cook for a further 4 minutes.
  4. Add your miso and soy sauce to the pan with a tablespoon of water. Mix thorougly.
  5. Serve and enjoy!
