Wasabi Asparagus Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet  ready-rolled puff pastry
  • 100g asparagus spears, trimmed
  • 100ml cheese sauce
  • 1 tsp Yutaka Wasabi Paste
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan).
  2. Unroll the puff pasrty onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  3. Score a 1cm border around the edge, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the cheese saice with the wasabi paste until smooth. Spread the mixture evenly within the scored border.
  5. Arrange the asparagus and tomato halves over the sauce. Drizzle with the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pastry is golden and puffed, and the vegetables are tender.
  7. Serve warm, sliced onto squares.
