King Prawns Japanese BBQ Sauce

Ingredients

  • 200g raw king prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Yutaka Mirin
  • 1 tsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp tonkatsu sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Yutaka Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1 spring onion, finely sliced
  • Lime wedges, to serve

Directions

  1. In a bowl, toss the prawns with soy sauce, mirin and vegetable oil. Leave to marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Thread prawns onto skewers if using a grill, or leave loose for a frying pan.
  3. Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and lightly charred.
  4. Brush with tonkatsu sauce and cook for a final 30 seconds to glaze.
  5. Drizzle either sesame oil and scatter with spring onion.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.
