Directions
- Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear and cook according to packet instructions. Let it rest for 10 minutes before fluffing with a fork.
- In a frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Stir in the miso paste, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the chicken is coated and caramelized.
- Serve the miso chicken over the cooked rice and garnish with sliced spring onion and sesame seeds.
