Miso Mackerel with Chilli Rice

Ingredients

  • 2 Mackerel Fillets
  • 4 Tbsp Yutaka Miso Paste
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Mirin
  • 150g Yutaka Rice
  • 1cm Ginger (grated)
  • 2 Spring Onions
  • 1 Chilli
  • 1 Tbsp Oil

Directions

  1. Mix the miso, sugar and mirin together in a small bowl.
  2. Brush the mackerel with oil and cover it with the mixture. Put in the fridge.
  3. Cook the rice according to packet instructions. Add the ginger, chilli and spring onions and mix well.
  4. Grill the mackerel according to packet instructions and serve with the rice.
