Steak skewers

Ingredients

  • 80ml Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tsp Coriander Leaves chopped
  • 600g Beef Fillet Steak, cut into 3cm pieces
  • 2 Tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
  • 2 Lemongrass Stems grated
  • 1 Tsp Chilli Oil
  • 2 Tsp Green Tea Leaves 
  • 1cm Grated Ginger 
  • Pickled Ginger
  • Skewers

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, lemongrass, chilli oil, green tea, ginger, and coriander. Add the beef ans stir to coat it with the marinade.
  2. Place the bowl in the refrigerator to marinate the beef for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. While the beef is marinating, cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
  4. Once the beef has marinated, preheat a barbecue or chargrill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Remove the beef from the marinade and thread it onto skewers.
  6. Chargrill the beef, turning it, for 3-4 minutes for rare or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Let the beef rest, loosely covered with foil, for 2-3 minutes.
  7. To serve, present the beef skewers alongside rice and pickled ginger.
