Ingredients
- 80ml Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 2 Tsp Coriander Leaves chopped
- 600g Beef Fillet Steak, cut into 3cm pieces
- 2 Tbsp Sweet Chilli Sauce
- 2 Lemongrass Stems grated
- 1 Tsp Chilli Oil
- 2 Tsp Green Tea Leaves
- 1cm Grated Ginger
- Pickled Ginger
- Skewers
Directions
- In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, sweet chilli sauce, lemongrass, chilli oil, green tea, ginger, and coriander. Add the beef ans stir to coat it with the marinade.
- Place the bowl in the refrigerator to marinate the beef for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- While the beef is marinating, cook the rice according to the instructions on the packet.
- Once the beef has marinated, preheat a barbecue or chargrill pan over medium-high heat.
- Remove the beef from the marinade and thread it onto skewers.
- Chargrill the beef, turning it, for 3-4 minutes for rare or until it reaches your desired level of doneness. Let the beef rest, loosely covered with foil, for 2-3 minutes.
- To serve, present the beef skewers alongside rice and pickled ginger.
