Asparagus with Miso Dressing

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus, woody ends trimmed
  • 1 tbsp Yutaka White Miso Paste
  • 1 tsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Yutaka Rice Vinegar
  • 1/2tsp Yutaka Mirin
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp warm water

Directions

  1. Bring a pan of salted water to the boil. Add asparagus and cook for 2-3 minutes until just tender. Drain and refresh under cold water.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together white miso, soy sauce, rice vinegar, mirin, sesame oil, sugar and warm water until smooth.
  3. Arrange the asparagus on a serving plate. 
  4. Spoon over the miso dressing.
  5. Serve as a side dish or light starter, warm or at room temperature.
