Miso Butter Pasta with Tuna and Cabbage

  • 400g Spaghetti
  • 5 Cloves of Garlic
  • 150g Red Cabbage
  • 1 Tin of Tuna in Oil
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp Yutaka Miso Paste
  • 4 Tsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tsp Yutaka Mirin
  • 1 Tbsp Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Black Pepper


  1. Chop your garlic and cabbage.
  2. Put a saucepan of water on to boil and add the spaghetti.
  3. Whilst the spaghetti is boiling, heat the oil up in a frying pan and add the sliced garlic.
  4. Add the cabbage and tinned tuna. Stir well.
  5. Next add in the black pepper, butter and miso paste, and keep stirring.
  6. Add a mug of pasta water into mixture, along with soy sauce and mirin.
  7. Toss the spaghetti in the frying pan and serve.
