Salmon Tartines with Wasabi Avocado

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack Puff Pastry
  • 60ml Yutaka Rice Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Mirin
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp Yutaka Sushi Ginger
  • 1 Tbsp Yutaka Hon Wasabi Paste
  • 400g Salmon
  • 40g Watercress
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 Lime

Directions

  1.  Preheat your oven to 200°C.
  2. Roll your pastry out on a lined baking tray with a rolling pin until it is a flat rectangle.
  3. Cut the pastry with a cookie cutter in your desired shape or into equal sized squares.
  4. Bake for around 12 minutes.
  5. Whilst your pastry is cooking, blend the avocado, juice from the lime and wasabi paste in a blender then set aside.
  6. Next mix together the vinegar, mirin, soy sauce and ginger into a bowl.
  7. Remove your pastry from the oven and leave to cool for around 10 mintues. Whilst cooling, chop your salmon finely.
  8. Once cooled, spread each square with the avocado mixture, then add salmon and the dressing on top. Garnish with watercress.
