Ingredients
- 500g chicken wings
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Yutaka White Miso Paste
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Yutaka Mirin
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 spring onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tsp Yutaka Sesame Seeds (optional)
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (180°C fan). Line a baking tray with foil or baking parchment.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the miso paste, soy sauce, mirin, honey, sesame oil, and garlic to create a smooth marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss until thoroughly coated. Allow to marinate for 20-30 minutes for best flavour.
- Spread the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking tray. Bake for 20 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, make the soy mayo dip. In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise, soy sauce, and lemon juice until smooth. Set aside.
- Once the wings are ready, sprinkle with sliced spring onion and sesame seeds if using. Serve hot with the soy mayo dip on the side.
