Ingredients
Serves 2
- 10 Chicken wings
- 2 tsp Garlic puree or crushed garlic
- 1 tsp Honey
- 3 tbsp Gochujang (adjust to your preferred spice level)
- 2 tsp Sesame oil
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tsp Tomato Ketchup
- 1 tbsp Mirin
Garnish:
- Spring onions
- White sesame seeds
Directions
Dry chicken wings with paper towels to remove moisture (this will ensure extra crispiness).
Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper.
Mix marinade ingredients in a small bowl.
Place chicken wings into a large zip-lock bag, pour in the marinade and thoroughly coat each piece of chicken with the marinade by massaging the bag. Close the bag and leave in the fridge for 2 hours (or longer for better results).
- Place the chicken on a wire rack over a baking tray.
- Put in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 mins*. Rotate the tray half-way through, for even cooking. Make sure the chicken has cooked all the way through.
- Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
