Serves 2

  • 10 Chicken wings
  • 2 tsp Garlic puree or crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Gochujang (adjust to your preferred spice level)
  • 2 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 2 tsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mirin

  • Spring onions
  • White sesame seeds

  1. Dry chicken wings with paper towels to remove moisture (this will ensure extra crispiness).

  2. Lightly season chicken with salt and pepper.

  3. Mix marinade ingredients in a small bowl.

  4. Place chicken wings into a large zip-lock bag, pour in the marinade and thoroughly coat each piece of chicken with the marinade by massaging the bag. Close the bag and leave in the fridge for 2 hours (or longer for better results).

  5. Place the chicken on a wire rack over a baking tray.
  6. Put in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 mins*. Rotate the tray half-way through, for even cooking. Make sure the chicken has cooked all the way through.
  7. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds. Serve and enjoy!
* Cooking time may vary based on the oven used and the size of your chicken wings.
