Ingredients
- 400g Ranch Steak
- 2 Tbsp Yutaka Miso Paste
- 1 Tbsp Yutaka Cooking Sake
- 1 Tbsp Sugar
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 Cucumber
- 1 Tbsp Yutaka Soy Sauce
- 1cm Grated Ginger
- 1 Tbsp Chilli Oil
- 1 Tsp Sesame Seeds
Directions
- Mix together your miso paste, cooking sake, garlic and sugar in a shallow bowl.
- Place your steak in the marinade and flip a few times to ensure it is coated. Cover the bowl and leave in the fridge for a minimum of 3 hrs.
- Slice your cucumber in half and press each half down firmly with a knife. Next, thinly slice and add to a bowl with ginger, soy sauce, chilli oil and sesame seeds- mix well and place on a plate.
- Heat your frying pan on high and once very hot, place your steak in the pan. Sear for 3 minutes on each side or according to packet instructions.
- Slice your steak and serve on the bed of smacked cucumber.
